Guided by the principles of volunteerism and community service, dedicated leaders of different NGOs having common mission and vision bonded together and entered into a Memorandum of Agreement to form an organization called the Federation of PNP Accredited NGO's of the Philippines, Inc. (FPAN)
Highly recognized by the Philippine National Police, Police Community Relations Group with SEC Registered number A199911346 instituted on September 9, 1999 in Camp Crame, Quezon City. With its twenty three (23) NGO's members and thousands individual members committing the service and assistance to the PNP personnel, responsiveness in the deterioration of crime and violence are extremely participated with the aid of other Law Enforcement Agencies.
The FPAN members are very much active not only on PNP related activities but also on community service assistance. Helping the public in general is the federation's focal advocacy that leads illicit acts often times to the portal of court proceedings. This total campaign against crime and other lawless elements resulted to a crime-free and a peaceful community.
Fighting against crime and criminals, as its is primary objective, yields a police augmentation thru FPAN members, together with the PNP personnel thus creating a channel for a better relationship between the PNP force and the community in the process of crime reporting, prevention, information dissemination and others. Such activities involves Kaagapay ng Manlalakbay, Oplan Kaluluwa, School and Community-based protection program.
Community Services and assistance, as it is the secondary objective, discernible on its members that fighting against crimes alone is not the only means in order to attain better and strong community. The ideals of "Bayanihan" made the federation realized that a healthy community will contribute much to improve the well-being of an individual in the society and the country as a whole. For the reason, Medical/Dental mission was conducted on the urban poor areas and nearby provinces in Metro Manila, Relief Operation during adversity, Fogging operation, Oplan Linis, Alay Lakad and Physical Fitness activity, etc.
The citizenship involvement in the anti-crime campaign is greatly encourages by the government specifically by the PNP for the attainment of a strong republic. FPAN will not ceased and impressively pledge to continue its commitment to the general public awareness and provide the necessary support and assistance to the PNP and stakeholders' threshold.
